Introducing Hot Chocolate Freeride Camps

Phil Meier, Swiss pro Freeskier and Stephen Hadik, UIAGM Guide have created a team to teach and experience Mountain Awareness in the first ever all-inclusive freeskiing camp. The camps will take place in Verbier, Switzerland and its surrounding area; encompassing some of the best off-piste skiing in the world. During the weeklong sessions, skiers will be exposed to every aspect of freeskiing, from avalanche safety and mountain awareness to randonnee and heli-skiing.

The Flavors are as diverse as the rows of chocolate in a Swiss grocery store. Phil Meier, Swiss-Jamaican, Stephen Hadik, Hungarian-French, Jonas Delogne, Belgian-Canadian, Pete Halme, Finnish, and Will Lovejoy, Australian-Certified Nut are only some of the people that will contribute to the lifestyle experience. "We love what we do and we want to share it with everyone, but it has to be in a responsible way; a backcountry experience where the learning comes through doing it."

Stephen Hadik says Hot Chocolate camps target passionate skiers who want to safely immerse themselves in the Freeride experience. Weather forecasting, equipment maintenance, video analysis and massage therapy will all be part of the daily ritual for participants at Hot Chocolate Freeride Camps. Phil Meier and his team can't wait to share the flavour of a sport that eludes so many. This year, be different. Come savor the finest Hot Chocolate ever served in the Alps.
