Huck Neck 101 - Day in the Life of Gumby on Blackcomb

See the thing is, back in the 90's it was cool to hip check your landings. Unfortunately, I never grew out of that stage. There was just too many flat landing cliffs in my undisciplined ski childhood on Blackcomb, and without race camp, freestyle camp, or WFC to tell me otherwise, I grew up assuming that was just what you do after hucking your meat. And hence the nickname, Gumby.

And hence, to this day, even when the sun in shining and there's fat skis under my feet, you can still catch a glimpse of Gumby strutting his stuff and dropping his butt left right and center. Feb 1 2012 was an especially good chance to catch Gumby in action on Blackcomb.
