Got a call from Bruce Kay the other day to join him on a project he had in the North Joffre area. I'm alway's a little apprehensive when BK calls, an epic is usually on the menu..

TR??..TR. Currie 2 Wedge.. Jimmy Martinello, Kelven Vail, John Burko and Chris Christie, I think we broke a record with 3 consecutive days of good weather, (well almost!!)
Saturday morning we did a heli drop on Mount Currie and traversed to Mt Weart (9000 ft roughly) and attempted to ski the Owls, 1500 feet 50 deg.. Snow was buttery on the 10km traverse to the base with North facing variable verglass to some winter pow.

Skied Line 2 on Dalton Dome NE face Jan 13.. It was our 3rd time up to the face and it finally let us have a go at it.. Anyone have any idea if it's been skied before?? Super asthetic, steep and sustained beside the ice fall...
