The plan Saturday morning was to skin into the Brew Mountain hut with Jonathan and Lee. Everthing seemed to be going well! Super cold temps, clear skies, and rumors of a 400cm base! I'm not really sure what the @#$% happened but he knows who he is. After a 1150m ascent, 21 kms with overnight packs, and 5 hours we realized that we were on the wrong mountain! Defeat! With limited energy and dreams of deep pow we decided to re-fuel at Splitz in Whistler and head to the Duffy for some guaranteed lines. It ended up being an incredible night at -10 deg C with a near full moon and no one was in the hut! What the? Sunday was an action packed day complete with wicked turns and rising temps. Pics:
