Seems like it just ain't the lead up to winter in Whistler until the TGR premiere rolls around. OK we're biased as all hell, being the organizers of the event, but it just ain't time to get ready for winter until TGR's flick hits the big screen.

Anybody in Whistler who new what was good for them this weekend was at the Whistler premiere of MSP's newest film In Deep. For everyone else... well, there's always the DVD. 

Whisterlites get ready, MSP is dropping their new film "In DEEP" at MY Millennium Place in our town tonight and tomorrow - Sept 25 & 26, 2009. The reviews so far have been pretty sweet, and how could you really justify missing Shane McConkey and Saucer Boy's last ski film? Right, didn't think so.

Kokanee Crankworx 2009 is ready to rip Saturday, August 8 and will kick off the celebration of all two-wheeled addictions as the Bike Expo, Demo and Tech Zones open to the public in the morning and the Dual Slalom racers go head to head in the afternoon.

There's something blazing up on Blackcomb Mountain and for once we're not talking about Blackcomb freeskier Alex Blais. Nope, we're talking about lightning, thunder, and subsequently a huge-ass fire blazing on Blackcomb Mountain in the Crystal Ridge area. The news of the wildfire is spreading like, well, like wildfire!

This weekend, yes WEEKEND, May 2 & 3, we were shredding epic spring corn laps from the top of Glacier Express on Blackcomb to the bottom of Crystal Chair and beyond, without passing a single person.
