High Pressure in January opens up the Spearhead Range

There’s no denying we’ve received a meager amount of snowfall in the Whistler area since the new year. The silver lining is that we’ve had a number of days of great high pressure. Skiers in the Whistler valley are a spoiled bunch.

The storms turned on late this fall in Whistler but when they finally did it was game on! We started out with an almost non-existent base on Nov 15th but by mid December it was epic face shots in the trees all the way to the valley.
