Mt Baker is opening this Thursday November 16th 2006! Woot! Their base is up 178cm deep at the top according to snow report.

The report on their side says:

We had another one roll through yesterday and last night, leaving us another 14 INCHES OF NEW SNOW. Since Saturday morning, we have had 53 INCHES OF NEW SNOW!

Ski area rope lines are going up today, chair lift ramps are being groomed and prepped and base areas are receiving stocking shipments.

It's started we now officially have 2 resorts open in our little continent!  Loveland, CO, just got 15" (that's 38cms) last weekend and has had 38" (almost 100cms!) in total so far this year.  I remember getting face shots on Nov 5th in Whistler last year...show me the west coast money!
