After the  Easter Bowl Experience yesterday we thought things couldn't get much better for this time of year... well griz proved us wrong, as he often does here in the Snow Valley. Last night it snowed another 10 cm, adding to the 90 or so we have received in the past 3 or 4 days.

Even since Pat's blog post, there is more snow on Seymour.

I didn't hit one rock, and we even got to ski in the trees and do secret billygoat line!

Mt Baker is opening this Thursday November 16th 2006! Woot! Their base is up 178cm deep at the top according to snow report.

The report on their side says:

We had another one roll through yesterday and last night, leaving us another 14 INCHES OF NEW SNOW. Since Saturday morning, we have had 53 INCHES OF NEW SNOW!

Ski area rope lines are going up today, chair lift ramps are being groomed and prepped and base areas are receiving stocking shipments.

I got to the office this morning to a pleasant surprise, Jonny sent me a message on messenger that Snowbird just got 17"!! Check out this pic to prove it! It's getting so close I can taste.

Man, winter's making a stand down south. It's 24 degrees and sunny here in BC, meanwhile Colorado and Utah got some love. We've all heard about Colorado's early dumps, and resorts in Utah are open!
