This is just rediculous. What a start to the winter. Whistler has been epic. I missed today's action but the peak is sched to open for tomorrow and it's going to be silly. Mt Baker is opening this Thursday November 16th 2006! Woot! Their base is up 178cm deep at the top according to snow report.

The report on their side says:

We had another one roll through yesterday and last night, leaving us another 14 INCHES OF NEW SNOW. Since Saturday morning, we have had 53 INCHES OF NEW SNOW!

Ski area rope lines are going up today, chair lift ramps are being groomed and prepped and base areas are receiving stocking shipments.
