Rating

White Pass Fernie SnowSummer is so dead. It's snowing everywhere, and everyone who cares the least bit about skiing or boarding is getting pumped. Here's a report from RCR, and stay tuned for a first hand account of some Whistler backcountry pow.

With just 35 days to go until the start of the ski season in the Canadian Rockies, winter storms are turning the mountains white. Fernie Alpine Resort was recently named one of the Top 5 Ski Resorts in North America by readers of Skiing Magazine.

Lake Louise Mountain Resort was also one the top reader picks by Skiing Magazine, and was once again named one of the Top 50 Resorts in North America by SKI Magazine.

Kimberley Alpine Resort was named one of Canada’s Best Winter Resorts in 2006.
