Gaper Day 2013 Is Near - Bring It!
The best day of the ski season is rapidly approaching, and you better bring it. Yep you guessed it... the one, the only, the original.... Gaper Day Whistler. The phenomenon that was once a small posse of friends keepin' it unreal is now a National Holiday (in America apparently) celebrated by hundreds of awesome Whistler skiers, snowboarders and monoskiers.

A lot of companies are coming out with touring boots that are supposed to ski like the real thing these days. You hear from a lot of people that they just don't quite do what they are supposed to. A decent walk mode but not the rigidity of a true freeride boot. This comes down to crappy riveting hardware and a cuff that doesn't actually lock down. Yes, I know.

Conquering Demons at McMurdo: An Exaggerated (Getting Shut Down) Shred Story
We came as few had done before us, four men, one sled, quadandeming 20 kms down a forest services road on a 23-year-old machine in isothermal snow. The crew consisted of myself (Night Terrors), my dentist (Mikael Kattovich), Kattovich’s dentist (Robertson Streetza), and Ballet Doug. For our parts, we’d all come to conquer personal demons.
