Across Canada from Thunder Bay, ON to Whistler, BC, the sleepy pretzels, easy conversation and incomparably grabbed grabs of the young Dane Degruyter and I have, for no less than three years, been attempting to create the text that follows. The Clamshell is one of those iconic peaks that you can see from Golden. The broad, rounded peak sticks out amongst the typical jagged peaks of the Selkirks. Thousands of feet of alpine bowl can offer high speed pow gs turns as far as the eye can see. Epic trips can be made on the Clamshell.
