I was in Merlin's Monday afternoon and Whistler's favourite American local Brain Baker said of course we were going to drop Rainbow in November on Tuesday as forecast was for sun, and obviously there
was snow.  Of course -20 temps and is the ski out going to be ok
were issues I brought up but Brian just talked about the pow and
after thinking about that as well forgot about everything else and went to find neck gaiter, harness, etc....  8AM flight barely ever happens on time and ture to form we left at 8:30 but were treated to one of the better views I have seen with pure bluebird and Rainobows trees balnketed with over 400 cms of new snow!

The snow was some of the lightest I have ever skied and was going over our heads, I had to stop a few times as the snow would stick to my goggles there was so much.  It was definitely cold but we dressed
appropriately with obviously lots of layers.  We had to break trail being the first people out this season and that took a lot longer than we thought as there was so much snow.  Worth it though and once we walked down from the end of the logging road down to Gone Bakery
soup had never tasted so good.  Rainbow is good to go so get up there.
I will not be going for a while as after 6PM when I got home rushed to the clinic as noticed had frostbite on my big toe.  Out for a couple of weeks but better than the season.

Thanks to Hammer and BB for keeping things under control
