Are the forecasters on holiday? I was just checking the forecast on the WhistlerBlackcomb site... What the heck is this:

Revised Alpine Recreation Forecast For The South Coast Mountains Issued By Environment Canada At 9.19 Am Pst Tuesday 16 January 2007.

Synopsis..A Weak Front Will Move Through The South Coast Today....
And With Some Fairly Cold Air In Place In The Low Levels The Snow Level Will Be Near Sea Level. The Next Pacific Frontal System Will Bring Some Snow Beginning Wednesday Night And Freezing Levels Will Edge Upward.

Whistler - Blackcomb.
No Change To 5 Am Issue.

5 Day Trend..A Weak Warm Front Will Move Through The South Coast On Thursday Bringing Some Light To Moderate Precipitation And Moderately High Freezing Levels. More Fronts Will Affect The South Coast On Friday And Saturday Bringing Moderate Amounts Of Precipitation With Freezing Levels Near The Seasonal Average.

ok you impatient chumps. the rule on an epic year like this is why do a forecast if there's not more than a foot of snow coming? so voila, there's another foot in the forecast, and the forecast is back!

k maybe that's not how it works, but it's back.
