Chapstick, check. Snacks (and by snacks I mean chocolate), check. Travel mug, check. 3 different tuques for 3 days, check. 3 girlfriends for a weekend roady to Revelstoke and Kicking Horse, check, check, check.

At the end of January we filled up the car and drove out to Revelstoke Mountain Resort to coach Girls Day Out. Started by Leah Evans, Girls Day Out is in it’s 4th year and brings women together to work on big mountain skills. This year the Revelstoke camp was sold out months in advance and had a 25 person waiting list. Success!

You might have heard us saying things like ‘Yaaaayyy!’ and ‘Twinsies!’, but we were also shredding pow and hitting drops like a boss. It was a great weekend and I can't wait to go back for that beautiful interior powder.

Next up was a Rad Boob Club reunion and Kicking Horse recon mission for the next Girls Day Out. It was an epic drive through the pass, but an epic drive also means an epic day of skiing. Kicking Horse is the type of mountain that stays good even days after it’s snowed and we were lucky to have 10 cm of new overnight (‘Yaaaayyyyy!’). We scoped out the best lines, the best drops and the best snow. I couldn't stop smiling all day.

So grab your girlfriends, your chapstick and head to Kicking Horse for the next Girls Day Out the weekend of March 30th or just go for a ski with your best friends and have a laugh.
