Last Ride on Fissile for The Year

April 24...aka the last weekend Whistler lifts run for the year Ryan Prentice, Jen Ashton, Chad Manley and I headed out under bluebird skies to ski the east face of Fissile.
Perfect snow and weather were on the menu for us for as we skied the consistently steep yet exposed NE face of Fissile. Truly at classic descent in the Spearhead!
Hanging out on the summit and watching many, many groups traverse the Spearhead ranger gave me renewed stoke for the Spearhead Hut Project! Recon is the name of the game right now...but the plan is coming together:)
