Over the last few years its become something of a tradition for a New Year shred on Joffre Peak. This year Andre and I went for the next round on a frigid Sunday. Never a mountain to disappoint Joffre gave us -20 C to toughen up to, some wind buffed turns to sharpen us up and then pow shredding on a line beside the Aussi we'd not skied before. We called it the Kiwi Couloir as it was beside the Aussie Couloir to the east and smaller, if anybody knows the real name lets hear it. Great day, until I took my socks off and saw the frostbite!
