I was working this summer at Whistler Blackcomb for the Public Relations Dept., and I was in charge with 2 of my colleagues to manage the Medias during the Kokanee Crankworx 2010 Festival. My feeling was: we never see enough people get involved in their own events! So I thought it will be fun to race during Crankworx for 2 reasons:
- For myself first: to have fun during the biggest event in the world in Mountain Bike.
- And secondly to show at everyone (colleagues, friends, etc...) that we can be working all day in the office, we are still able to be part of the event as a racer! We are all passionate about bike and ski, we are not just trying to do some business with our passion! Just say'in... :D
So I registered for the Canadian Open Enduro on Tuesday 20th August, and decided to make a video with one of our Partner: GroPro Camera. Why GoPro? Because they make the best wearable camera and they thought my project was interesting, so they get involved!
Just for the details... I am a Frenchie (from France), racing in shirt and tee-shirt, no pads, on a Hard Tail previously single speed! Maybe I should just summarized by: "I'm the crazy Frenchie on his Hard Tail" (as nicknamed me the GoPro Team)
This is my Canadian Open Enduro in Whistler, BC. Enjoy!
Oh and I forgot to say, I love Whistler :)
