Baffin Island Here We Come

Sorry reality, you're just going to have to wait until mid May. On a whim, sitting on a beach in Hawaii, I decided I had to be part of an upcoming ski expedition to Baffin Island, and WHAM, a week later, I'm headed to the airport. It'll be 60 degrees C colder than Hawaii, but hey, there will be steep and deep couloirs wedged between the most dramatic rock walls on the planet. And polar bears... who doesn't love polar bears?

I will be joining 4 other shred dogs; Jordan Manley, Marcus Waring, Chad Sayers and Tobin Seagel. The mission? To base camp in the Sam Ford Fjord region of Baffin Island outside of Clyde River (aka middle of nowhere), bag as many amazing pinner couloirs as we can possibly find, and bask in 24 hours of daylight.

If you're curious, you can TRACK OUR LOCATION HERE.

See y'all in May with photos, video, and some polar bear pelts. Joking. Or am I? After all, I did have one of the best shots at our commando target practice.

BIG THANKS in advance to everyone who made this trip possible, including but not limited too the awesomest wife in the world, my folks, Mountain Hardwear, G3, Intersport, Mike Kerfoot & Grant Baldwin, the crew for planning this epic, and on and on.
