Whether it was a bluebird day with a foot of fresh, or a cloudy storm day with high avalanche danger, one thing always rang true in Gulmarg India - the skiing wasn't going to be the stand out story of the day.
Perched in the foothills of the Himalayas, the furthest ski resort on earth from Whistler is otherwordly to say the least. We headed there for a few weeks in February to find out what this peculiar ski hill (with the highest gondola in the world) is all about. Despite Gulmarg's decent terrain, a few huge snowfalls, and some sweet runs, there was just always something going on that trumped the skiing for 'story of the day'.
Hard to describe in words, we'll let Will Lascelles photos do the talking, along with a few of our previously released videos to round it out for some Kashmir eye candy like never before.
But it still won't do that crazy place justice. You'll just have to go check it out for yourself one day.
