It was going to be the best day of the year

I've struggled with the decision of whether or not to post this story. Jamie and Andre encouraged me to do so if only as an educational heads up. So I've decided to post a few details and keep it short to let our friends know we're okay. If you know me and want to get the whole low down you know where to find me. I don't mind talking about it.

January Tropical Freezing levels

The last few days in Vancouver have seen that infamous January tropical storm that have threatened freezing levels in the mountains to a not so good height. Nevertheless with a little hunting Jonathan and I found some snow in the Duffy Lake area. It looks like it will sort itself out in the next few days with colder temps and a few big dumps expected!

Carpenter Lake First descent?

This summer most people who headed north of Pemberton were probably witness to at least one of the wild fires that raged through B.C's coast ranges. While this devastation was obviously tragic a new opportunity has presented itself now that snow has covered up the mess.
