Damn, that really just happened. Awesome. Whistler hottest ski chick (interperate that how you like) just crushed the competition and won a GOLD MEDAL in Womens Ski Cross, on home turf right here in BC. Awesome. So stoked for her.

Today was a day to remember for sure - one of the most bizarre powder days I can remember. The rain on Whistler Blackcomb was a thing of the past, 47cm's of new snow fell over night, making the 24 hr total more like 2 feet! It didn't stop there, dumping all morning, adding another 20cm to the mix.

Salomon just released Salomon Freeski TV - Season 3 - Episode 13, and damn, I'm officially jealous. I'm pretty sure this was the same time that Doglotion.com regulars Jordan Manley, Tobin Seagel, and Chad Sayers were all in Monterosa, sending us messages of bottomless pow and sunshine.

Here's the deal. BC ski resorts are opening up all over the map today, and I can't ski. Yep, sprained ankle. So it's time to live vicariously through those who can. And there's swag in it for you!

Oh man, this one had us laughing out loud. Not really Doglotion's genre being a full jib flick, but we're guessing you're gonna appreciate this one never the less. 'My Friends a Pro' legend John Symms hooks up with XDragon and a bunch of Korean homies to infiltrate the Korean freeski scene.

Honest to god, this is f$@%ing hilarious. Did we really just get another 51cm of snow? Have I woken up an hour too early for my ride, and am I really getting ready for another day with over a half meter of fresh snow? Two and a half meters this week? That's more snow than many places on earth ever get in a season.

Don't want to count our eggs before they've hatched, but is this going to be the frickin' best season known to man or what? Already had two balls deep days at Whistler Blackcomb, opening 2 weeks early with more snow that I remember having all of last year.

Salomon Freeski TV dropped another gem this week. Bit less action than the last 2 flicks, but they tapped in on something you don't see often... what goes on behind the scenes of an epic photo. Sure enough 2 of them didn't even need good snow, just something different.

It just keeps coming. It was absolutely spewing rain in Vancouver and Squamish yesterday, and waddya know,  my car heater and de-fog doesn't work. Bad news. But the good news is how much snow the PNW's resorts and beyond are getting...
