Salomon And Sherpas Skiing Magma

A bunch of dudes in Chile, riding donkeys and skiing steep lines ino the crater of a Volcano. Does it get any cooler than that? This is definitely my favourite Salomon Freeski TV episode yet.

Countdown to Whistler Vid

It's getting closer. It's forecasted to snow tomorrow, and 5 weeks later, Whistler Blackcomb will be opening it's doors for another season. We can't even remember the last time it percipited, so you'd have to figure it's saving up for this winter, and going to just spew snow for months on end!

Fires, Mudslides and Powder - What Next?

Man, disasters a plenty at the ski resorts just outside of Santiago Chile, keeping local fire fighters plenty busy. A big fat snowstorm rolled in, so heavy that we knew we wouldn't be skiing for a solid 2 days. So we did like any bored skier would and headed down to Santiago to chilax and wait out the storm.

Dumping in Argentina - Over 2 Meters!

Skiers are buzzing about the huge-ass dump of snow that just fell on Las Lenas, Argentina, and hopefully some of the neighbouring zones. I heard 2.6 meters in Las Lenas alpine! The website shows a little less, but who's counting. Good news for anyone down there!
