Man on man, we don't know if this counts as a gear review or not, but uh, it must be pretty serious gear because somebody seems to think SkiBiking is worth it's own magazine. 

Yep, was just browsing away, innocently looking at ski websites, when someone I found myself at http://www.skibikemagazine.com/, the official SkiBike Magazine website.  My favourite pages of course being the 'Clubs', the Gallery which is sadly empty because no Snowbiker are man enough to submit their photos, and, well, now that we look at it almost the whole site is empty. 

With the recent epic snowfalls combo'd with surprisingly consistent sunny skis so far this winter, it just may THE winter for backcountry shredding. Faction, the independent freestyle/freeride ski brand producing some of the highest quality twin tips on the market, has decided to give it’s activists something for getting on-line.

The first ski mags have all been coming out lately, and they usually crank off the season with the buyers guide edition. You know, the ones that tell you what's hot and what's not for hard & soft goods this season. While some of the usual players are back as always, there's a new kid in town in this year's Buyer's Guides - Movement Skis.

I spent the better part of a decade cheaping out, bouncing between lame hand-me-down backpacks for ski touring - so you can imagine how amped I was when a Deuter Guide 35+ pack came into my life. Sure it doesn't have a built in stereo and won't do my laundry for me, but it makes ski mountaineering & touring a cruisey.

Time for a new section on the site for all you gear junkies... The Gear Reviews. Sometimes it'll be epic equipment we should all own (like the Movement Goliath review we've done), while other times we may just be warning you about the most random snow products we've ever seen.... kinda of like this thing...

Time to introduce a new section on the site for all you gear junkies, and anyone who's curious about what sucks and what doesn't in the ski world. First off... Goliath Skis by Movement, the Swiss Freeride Company. In short, they don't suck. Far from it.
