50 centimetres or 20 inches!

Whistler Blackcomb is whooping it up...there's a sick snow storm that is quickly covering the mountains in a thick coat of fresh snow.  Since the snow began falling last night, over 50 centimetres or 20 inches has been measured at the Pig Alley weather station at 1650m.

Whistler locals have been seen playing about as the snow continues to fall in the village as well on the mountain...Environment Canada alpine forecast is calling for up to 110 centimetres or 43 inches of snow over the next five days!  Stay tuned for opening day!!!
